She looks up at the shining star falling down to earth,
and she wishes on that falling star for all it may be worth.
She wishes things could only be the way that they once were.
She wishes that life hadn't been so unfair to her.
She wishes for some happiness to wipe away the sorrow,
She wishes for a ray of hope to see her through tomorrow.
