I am waiting for
That one last breath
To leave my lips
And bring on death

I am waiting for
The light to fade
And whisper the
Goodbye I bade

I am waiting for
The sun to touch the sky
One last time
Before I fly

I am waiting for
That one last touch
To caress my skin
As I loosen my clutch

I am waiting for
That one last glance
To show that I
Can take that chance

I am waiting for
The snow
To fall once more
For me to go
