I'm sorry i let the anger get in the way,
and i ignored the things you wanted to say.

and i wasn't there when you started to cry,
and I'm sorry i wished that you would die.

a friend forever that was me and you,
with all the things that we went through.

I'm surprised we even last this long i swear,
because when push came to shove you weren't even there.

so this is a letter to say I'm doing just fine,
and that i realize that we may have crossed that final line.

the one where theres no going back from the things that we say,
