    I love the ending, Melissa.
Hang in there, pal. Your writing will be the way you want it to be again, and those limp dandelions will perk right up! You do good work!

    Wow...
This is amazing and absolutely enchanting. So original piece, soaked in sincerity and emotions expressed on so unique way. Your descriptions are magically vivid, portrayed with deep thoughts and so creative imagery. This poem simply sings to me from the beginning to the end, filled with lively rhythm and admirable stanzas.
I can't chose my favorite part, this piece is breathtaking from the beginning to the end. I can relate to this in a way.
The ending lines are superb, so effective. Magnificent conclusion for the whole poem.
I'm putting this to my favorites. You are truly talented and creative writer.
    Amazingly done!
    Keep writing

Love it!!! This was such a wonderful poem and you managed to convey the idea of writing being superfluous but I think this poem was excellent and not a limp dandelion at all!!! Excellent work!

    "I'm missing old ink
and the way it use to speak
    with such diligence,
    pointing dreams towards stars
    painting stars into dreams
    then waking more knowing
    than before sleep"

I relate so well to that.
I've only finished one poem in the past 2 years and it was such a struggle.
Poetry used to flow so easily from my pen, these days it's so hard. I don't remember writing ever being this difficult.
Thanks for sharing this, I totally can relate to it more than you'd ever know.
    Take care.
