I'm Not Me, Without You

by TiNkErBeLl18   Jan 15, 2008

I'm not a CD, don't expect to like what you hear
I'm not a ball, stop throwing me around
I'm not a shoe, yet you still walk on me
I'm not a game, stop playing with my mind
I'm not a number, don't count on me
I'm not an illness, I will never go away
I'm not a book, you will never read me
I'm not a movie, you can't rewind to the past
I'm not a telephone, take me off hold
You now know what I'm not, but to be who I am I need you
I'm a flower, without your rain, I can't bloom
I'm a star, without your sky, I can't shine
I'm a leaf, without your branch, I will fall
I'm a door, without your key, I stay locked
I'm a bird, without your wings, I stay grounded
I'm a candle, without your wick, I can't burn
I'm a rock, without your hand, I can't skip
I'm a clock, without your time, i can't change
Without you, I'm nothing!

PLEASE comment tell me what you think
