Use them to tell you how you make me feel,
And how much my life has changed now your in it.
The way I have always got a smile on my face when Im with you leaves people clueless,
There was a time smiling became such an effort I never used to bother.
But now I cant help but smile every time just because your mine.
I love lying in bed at night thinking of how far we have come.
When we were both just strangers with messed up lives.
But then I find fulfilment in how much we needed each other even then.
And every time I think of the day we met I remember everything,
From the way I trembled when you held me in your arms for the first time,
The way my heart raced every time you looked at me.
But at the same time just simply remembering how secure I felt in your arms.
And I still remember exactly how I felt when you had to go,
Just completely dismayed and lost.
Three and a half months on and I just know youre the one.
We have come so far.
Been there for each other when we needed one another the most.
Posed for pictures just for fun.
We have laughed together, and cried together,
Sung our favourite songs together,
Fallen asleep together.
Even shared our deepest secrets.
Held each other in our arms and just lay in silence for hours,
Because we know words are simply not enough to explain our feelings.
We have held on tight not wanting to let go, just wishing we didnt have to loosen our grips.
Made memories never to forget.
I love the way you know me so well.
And how you can tell something is wrong, and just by knowing and being there you make everything alright.
