Smashing, Isn't It?

by Taylor   Jan 15, 2008

Take the blade from your heart, and insert it into mine
Destroy the clock baby, we're just killing time
I'm just gonna cruise through the rest of my life
No more mistakes to make, turn the level to high
Make the memory, say it loud and clear
Put the car into drive, and start to steer

Crash right into the corner, but stay alive
Bury the broken in a pit of knives
Hide the fact that, sweetie, you didn't win this game
And when all else fails, remember my name
I'll be the one that's saving your butt from all the trouble
The trouble you've caused, and your actions turned to double

You're two-faced hunny, there's nothing you can do
Unless your girlfriend suddenly gets tired of you
Then you'll be left alone, with no one to hold
You say I'm the most forgiving? No, I have the right to remain bold
Take your pain, and compare it to mine
Sweetie, you're as interesting as a year-old dime

I'll remember the day, when you come crying back to us
And you plead for us to forgive you, starting fuss
Hit the table, and you start to make a scene
Oh, I can't wait for the day, when you finally scream
Hun, stop pouting, and don't have a fit
This whole little story thing is quite interesting, isn't it?
