At first we were friends.
Friends who joke.
Friends who were close.
Friends who cared for each other.

I loved our friendship.
I felt safe when I was around you.
You weren't like any other friend.
And that's what I loved about it.

The more we talked though,
The more I liked you.
Not as a friend anymore...
Soon, I found that you liked me too.

I guess I started to flirt.
Hoping you'd see I liked you.
Best thing was,
You did.

Now we're happily together,
And I now can write love poems!
Hope we stay for a while,
For I am happy and so are you.
