Mud Balls and bulls

by Lucy Vandenberg   Jan 16, 2008

Mud balls and bulls

mud balls and bulls really
don't mix at mischievous
twelve I discovered this quick

So a friend my sister and I
decided to taunt three
bulls with mud pies

Now in the pen there be Peter,
John and Henry grazing
it seemed contentedly

As I raised courage, climbed
over the fence three bulls raised
their eyes and we officially met

Gaulking and stalking now was
the game as I bent for the
mud and threw with good aim

Henry didn't take kindly to mud
between eyes as he snorted
and charged, revenge held high

I ran in great fear to reach the
high wall horns meant for my
butt were gaining to call

with narrow escape but intact
I returned and fell to my
knees to kiss the good earth

Now there is a lesson since this
Iv;e lived by don't taunt three
bulls if the fence is to high
