Better than a friend

by lost   Jan 16, 2008

You look at me and I look at you
Our eyes lock and our hearts entwine
Words unnecessary
I hold on to you for one last time
And bring you close
I remember the first time we met
I was young and so were you
Immature and so unknowing
Our friendship grew from a small crush
To a huge love
Six years ago
And I still feel the same
Our hands have never held
And our lips have never touched
A hug is all we've had
But that doesn't mean I want it any different
You've been there through it all
And I'll know you'll stay there till the end
Though it's been hard
And we've killed each other with words
Are friendship still endures
We've watched each other grow
Into teens are parents love
And others want to be
Now looking in your eyes
I realize that even though were only friends
Your like my closest relative
I love you like my sister
And more than my best friend
Your alot more than a girl
Who could only be a friend
Your a girl who saved me.
