True love

by Brittany Hampson   Jan 16, 2008

Do you know what true love is?
I do...
It is more then being kissed in the rain,
having your heart skip a beat when you see the other person,

It is more then just saying I love you....
It is when you felt the most pain in the world,
But will always love them the same,
It is when
you hold your newborn baby in your arms

Knowing that forever and always
They will love you
And you will love them.

That is what True love is

Captalize your i's before it's too late. I learnt it made my poems look much better too late, and all my old poems look like throw-up.

    =] Just a hint.

Okay, so I read the poem. It was a cute little poem about true love, but it just... it was only hitting the surface. You can say "that's what I wanted to do, hit the surface" and I'd say, okay, well you did a good job at it, but if you wanted to write a great poem about true love, then you would have gone more in depth. You would have spoken in more detail, with more words. I still think it's a wonderful poem, regardless of the depth, but I think with such a vast expanse of oppurtunities under the topic, you would have offered up more of yourself to this poem.

Still, you did a good job with this poem =]
