Frozen

Look towards the sky tonight
Look far and wide this night
Today, this night you will see something magical
No there will not be an eclipse
Or will a comet pass by

But you shall finally see the true essence of what we call the moon
Its glow giving off an ebony black shadowy effect
Yet tonight it is just so special
Not only does the shadow look especially beautiful
It is a blue moon

This gorgeous moon that stands before us
Its blue that stands out in this dark night
With a just a hint of gold to my eyes
As I look into it I wonder of so many things
Realizing that life goes as its meant to be

Staring up from this grass
I noticed how the stars are aligned
I wonder how they look so beautiful
They each have their own glow
Giving off a light that makes you want to grab one

The sky is full of these little orbs of light
Each a reason of hope
A reason of life
Of faith
This world we live in

Is full of hope and faith
The gentle breeze that moves the grass
The ancient oak standing in the forest
As I rise from this sea of grass
I look to my left and my right

I realize the beauty that is around me
The sound of the crickets, of the birds
The gentle sway of the roses
The touch of her hand on mine

If only this day could last forever
Only if the beauty I have before could stay with me
If her touch could forever be mine
If this kiss we share would be frozen in time
