Just From Trusting You.

by Teria   Jan 17, 2008

My heart lies in your hands,
open and so weak.
Burning for some freedom,
for it's turned the other cheek.

Walking on two legs,
breathing in oxygen.
It seems that's all I am,
for there's nothing left within.

Holes and holes devour me,
as you make your way on through.
Creating pain within ever pore,
just from trusting you.

And, words just aren't enough,
to break my heart completely.
It lies open and so week,
with hope that you'll still love me.

Though, her name is painted everywhere,
and, her face is all I see . . .
Somehow it seems you've taken,
everything that's left of me.
