Time to make a stand
We fight for our freedom
For our country and our land

Our children
And our wives
They pray for us

Jimmy died last week
We left him in the rain
We couldn't do anything
Useless, he died in vain

Too many gone
Too many dead

We're finally going home

These memories will always last

They gave us all medals
And gave a big shout

Who didn't make it out

They'll never see their homes
Their families or they friends
