Do you remember the words,
I told you to forget?
The ones where I said I loved you,
And would never let you go?

Do you remember the voice,
That cut you so deep?
The tone of it harsh,
The words like a knife?

Do you remember the face,
That broke your heart?
The look that tore you to shreds,
The eyes that never forgave?

Do you remember the person,
Who ripped you apart?
Who pushed you away,
And told you to ignore them?

Do you remember the love,
That only we could feel?
How under the stars, we felt infinite,
And at that one point in time, we swore we would never love another?

Do you remember me,
In the way I remember you?

Or am I just some distant memory,
You would rather forget?
