Best Friends No Longer

Best friends forever
Man, what a lie
The only thing you've done
Is make me want to die

You get what I want
And rub it in my face
Trying to put up with you
Is becoming such a waste

Talking about me
Your words like knives
And everything you're saying
Are just flat out lies

So forget it now
I'm fed up with you
I'm sick and tired of trying
There's nothing more to do

Best friends forever
Doesn't exist
Trust me I know
Remember this

I was there for you
When times got tough
Now I won't be
I've finally had enough

So when your world crashes down
Don't you dare cry to me
This whole situation
Has finally made me see

You only think about yourself
Not caring that you're killing me
You made this decision
Now just leave it be

These are all facts
Admit it or not
Best friends forever
You seemed to have forgot

I've seen you cry
I've seen your scars
I was there for you
When things got hard

Now you're turning your back
And becoming someone else
I guess I'll deal with it
These were the cards that you dealt

Don't you dare talk about me
When you made the mistake
Best friends forever?
No, I've had all I can take

We were inseparable
Now we're drifting apart
Best friends forever
Has become a lost art

The moral of this poem
Is to never betray your friends
Because once you do that
It's bound to end

Trust me I know
I've have seen
My ''best friend''
Turned her back on me...
