My Heart Still Bleeds For You Like Before

by Demonwolfe   Jan 19, 2008

I look at you and it always breaks my heart,
Trying to keep it together, truth is I'm falling apart,
I'm so sick and tired of trying,
So over the constant crying,
Yeah, you see I'm smiling,
But inside I'm dying,
I hurt myself so you will not,
it works, but what I do hurts a lot,
Every time I drag the razor across my arm,
I also cut my heart, but the pain is such a charm,
Pain doesn't hurt if it's all you've ever felt,
What kills me is that every time I look at you I melt,
I finally realize what I've missed,
The razor is still sliding across my wrist,
Before I can stop it, the blood starts dripping,
And soon after the warmth starts slipping,
I'm dying now; my breath doesn't come any more,
My blood has ended my pain and covered the floor,
Has the crimson stained your heart and mind?
The endless pain is gone; I've left everything behind,
Maybe my death has made you realize how you feel,
Do you miss me? Beside my body you now kneel,
I'm free, my heart doesn't ache for you,
Now that you can't have me, what will you do?
My heart still bleeds for you like before,
Soon it won't, now that death has opened the door.
