Once in Love

by Rachael   Jan 19, 2008

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I was once in love with you.
My hearts warmth soon gave in and the cold-hearted girl came back again.
To dry my tears,
I sit and wait,
Because I know death is my fate.
The moonlight shows the sorrow of each face,
The water stills as of a heart sets pace.
I was once in love with you,
Till my heart warmth soon gave in and the cold-hearted girl came back again.
I feel pain,
But can it is show upon my face?
Just like the roses in a vase,
Died, crying out for help.
I was once in love with you.
Till my hearts warmth soon gave in and the cold-hearted girl came back again.
To me you were everything,
Now you're just as painful as anything.
You told me we will grow old together someday,
I believed you now am gray,
As the clouds in the midnight sky,
With out the stars,
Dont you wonder why?
I was once in love with you,
Till my heart was crushed in two,
Am soon to get over you.
My broken heart will never heal,
The memories will make me feel,
Sad as the midnight skies,
Like the children with no stars in their eyes.
You had my heart and told me lies,
I believed you,
Now I cry for all the pain,
I remember now.
I hope this bodies never found.
I was once in love with you.
Till my hearts warmth soon gave in and the cold-hearted girl came back again.
