The End

by NotCryingForHelp   Jan 19, 2008

I refuse to remember you,
and how we used to share everything.

And I refuse to look back on everything it did to me,
when I thought you didn't care.

I refuse to recall the pain i felt I deserved,
while I was being tortured by my feelings,
that wouldn't fade.

Now I won't have to refuse,
because soon I'll be lying there on the floor,
dead as a hinge on door.

I won't remember,
I won't need,
and I won't torment anymore.

I'll be free,
and full of glee,
just,please,let me be.

I want to drop this knife,
want to believe you,
when you say you care,
but I can't,
when I see the truth in your eyes.

Goodbye,
I'm sorry,
I refuse to hurt you any longer,
and I can't stand this life.

Goodbye,
I'll love you till the end.
