Untied....

Sleepless nights occupied my mind,
satisfaction I wasn't able to find.
without you there by my side,
sadness and sorrow i wasn't able to hide.

Thinking deeply as I watched the rain pour,
Crying endlessly made my eyes sore.
It hurts my heart to think its over,
Our friendship that I thought was forever.

I know we don't have a lot in common,
But we faced our problems head-on.
Our friendship was forever then,
But now it came to an end.

Listening to mellow music as I close my eyes,
Remembering the time you said those heart breaking goodbyes.
I broke down and cried,
Cause our bond is now untied.

I looked around my room and found pictures of us,
Those are the memories that still last.
The ribbon that bonds our hearts,
Is now cut and holds us part.
