Fading

by Angeleea   Jan 19, 2008

You Used To Take Away The Pain,
That Would Be Driving Me Insane.

The Pain From My Fears,
The Pain That Would Cause My Tears.

As I'm Letting This All Out,
I'm About To Start To Scream And Shout.

I Can See You,
Can You See Me Too?

Why Do You Look Like You're Fading,
Everything We Once Shared Now Evading.

I Reach Out My Hand And Touch You Face,
You Look Right Through Me Like I'm A Disgrace.

I'm Calling Out To You,
Not Knowing What To Do.

You Loved Me For Such A Long Time,
When Did That Love Finally Die?

I Look At You In The Distance,
And Walk To You Against All The Resistance.

I Walk To You,
But The Closer I Get The More You Fade Away.

I Just Want You To Know,
That I Love You.

And I Just Want To Know,
If You Really Loved Me Too.

Agian i must say you have an amazing talent in giving the reader a picture of what is happening, and letting them feel what the character in this poem is feeling. The message is one that many of us can relate to and that makes the piece even better. You truley have talent. 5/5
