His Story to Tell [pt 3]

by Forsaken Lullaby   Jan 19, 2008

His thoughts begin to engulf him
He can't feel anything.
But the loneliness he must live every passing day
He chews on the glass
That shows his distorted image
Can't stand to look back into the eyes of the very person he despises
Can't stand living the way he does
Can't stand the echoing voice that resonates within his mind
So long he has wished for silence
But all he receives from his screams,
His cries and prayers are what he abhors
"Don't worry darling, I am here to save you"
His wicked companion speaks
She never leaves him, nor ends her torture
He knows her face, her eyes, and the soul he once knew
But she is gone and has become something only he has imagine
She is only a memory burned within his subconscious
He can smell the smoke and the ash
The left over remains of something once so beautiful
