For Rent,
Reads the sign
But the walls
There cracked and torn
Bills are over due
Don't look right,
Theres no floor.
The roof leaks
Salty rain
Getting in
Will cause you pain
"Whats the red?"
Touch the walls
Look and see
Crimson tears
They bleed,
Who would
Love such a thing?

    I like this poem very much. The metaphor is excellent and the whole piece is filled with greatly expressed sadness. You created very vivid imagery and that made this piece even more powerful. Shot yet very effective poem.
