It's just much more difficult when you care

Trying to get it right at any cost

But when emotion overpowers, all perspective is lost

Searching for balance everywhere

Anyone's answers could be worth the fare

So I'll share with you a few things I've learned

A deserving man's still gotta give ta get it returned

        You've got to give love for it to be your due

        Gotta have peace within to find it around you

        You've got to give trust to get back lattitude

        Gotta have freedom in your mind or feel subdued

Searching for balance to break clear

From all the make believe we'd rather hear

Belief in fairy tales drives faith to die

It always seems to end with the truth when it starts with a lie

Searching for balance less severe

Than inactivity brought on by fear

Progress is synonymous with a move

You gotta give practice to anything for it to improve

        You've got to give love for it to be your due

        Gotta have peace within to find it around you

        You've got to give trust to get back lattitude

        Gotta have freedom in your mind or feel subdued
Searching for balance to aspire

Instead of crave then think we can't acquire

As relations where we assign degree

There's not much as destructive as perceived inequality

Searching for balance to inspire

Sentiment and truth to see past attire

And keep the beauty they find in thier view

Rather than doing less and demanding more

Insight unsung does not invite reprieve

Aiming at each step of a goal instills more ease to achieve

Searching for balance to explore

How faulty focus is at failures core

Dreams without drive are bad for time they burn

You gotta give hard work in anything to expect return

In reaction to success and failure

To be the same person in high or low

And not make one small thing affect how any other could go

Faith in regression still puts-off pleasure

Confidence is the key to turn and cope
