Unforgetable Moment

by Kimmy Ekviriyakul   Jan 21, 2008

You gave me a kiss when I was just born
You'd kiss my finger when I touched a thorne

You'd rub my back and sing me to sleep
You'd hold me close when they made me weep

You'd give me money when I go to school
You'd wipe my mouth, when eating I drool

You seemed so happy when I showed you my grades
You'd take me out to see parades

All my mistakes you'd always correct
All my differences you'd always accept

You'd always take care of me whenever I'm sick
When it comes to clothing, you'd help me pick

I'd always help you when you come down the stairs
I'd watch you as you comb my hair

I'd buy you food when I walk to the store
I'd never sleep because you'd always snore

I'd take care of you when you aren't well
I'd listen to every story you have to tell

I'd walk with you to every annual fair
I'd climb the trees to get you some pears

I'd hug you and kiss you everytime I went out
I always have faith in you, never a doubt

I love you so much, as memories unfold
I sit right beside you, you're hands feel so cold

I give you a kiss as one last goodbye
I'm right the beside you, while breathless you lie.

To my Great Grandma... The most important person to me in our family.
