I Despise Writing

The release of words and thoughts;
Onto a blank sheet of pure paper
Leaves me with a deep feeling of vulnerability...
Because the white slowly turns black
As my secrets are left open;
And the world suddenly knows me.

The release brings along fear,
Fear which runs deep inside of me;
For my secrets are out, for anyone to see...
Word making sentences, telling many stories;
All of which play a part in me.
I despise writing; but it helps me.

    I think that to some extent, we can all relate this. Vulnerability is an aspect that comes with writing, because you have that feeling that you're putting your heart out on paper. It's not easy to be that brave, not everyone can do that. Beautiful poem hun. Overall: 5.5 :]]
