Just a thought

Have you ever lied awake
In the dead of the night
Looking up to the sky
Knowing your thoughts aren't right

I climbed the highest mountain
Embraced the feeling so strong
But I tripped and fell down
And now all I can do is long

The danger was in site
I was told not to go
But I kept on trying
And now I feel so low...

Though I'd probably do it again
For just a moment I was alive
But I hurt someone I love
And some things, I can't revive
