That kinda pain

It hurts so much
to know that you're gone.

it's the kinda pain that feels like someone shot me in the heart & left me there to drown in my blood & tears...

it's the kinda pain that feels like you could carve i miss you into your skin over & over again until it covers your body entirely...

it's the kinda pain that makes you wish you were okay, but at the same time dead...

it's the kinda pain that makes you wanna show how you feel, but you're scared of what everyone else will think...

it's the kinda pain that makes you wanna run away & never turn back, but you know that even that wont make a difference...

it's the kinda pain that makes you sick to your stomach..sick enough to vomit..yet strong enough to hold on...

it's the kinda pain that makes you take a knife to your heart, gently start pushing the blade into your skin, and then taking a second look at life...

it's the kinda pain that makes you think that you're not gonna make it...

but then again...

its exactly that kinda pain that lets you know that you're that much stronger, and that you're gonna be okay.
