What you don't know

by halie   Jan 22, 2008

She smiles and acts like she's not in pain,
but inside it swallows her whole,
she fills the bathtub to the rim,
hopeing no one will notice

her cries in the night keep her awake,
who knew one guy could make her do all these things,
her parents know,
they just don't want to believe it's true,
so they act like they have no clue

she lies awake knowing of her pain,
no one tries to stop her,
no one says a word,
she only feels unheard,
she See's the blood drip down,
but she really has no clue of what she's beginning to do

For just one moment she'd love to make the pain go away,
but that isn't happening any time soon,

so everyday when she goes to school she puts on fake smiles,
and holds fake laughs in her hand,
ready to throw them away,
and this happens each and every day.
