Fairtales

I love how these fairy tales put thoughts in our head
but when you get older those thoughts go dead

I'm no Cinderella
the shoe doesn't always fit
i would rather be locked in a cellar
it wouldn't bother me a bit

And that apple that Snow White ate
who cares prince charming saved her
that wasn't fate

Sleeping Beauty had it made
she got to sleep her life away
she didn't have those memories that hurt so bad when they fade

Jasmine was a princess
and Aladdin was a peasant
but flying carpets cant get you to success

I know i need saving
but not by a guy
I can save myself
i will spread my wings and fly

Love isn't easy
no matter what you want to believe
and all that i have put him through
he has yet to leave

this is my fairytale
my broken story board is best
who cares what anyone else thinks
love is just a test
