And give us humans a warning from time to time

Explain to us our untended care
Move us with your words about those man-made fires
And please tell us why old "Smokey" talks
Include us in your cries of pain
As many of your natives are being cut down
Introduce us to your troubled times
Please explain how painful it is
As your kinds are becoming less and less
Connect with us, oh nature connect with us
And develop a way of communication
Hold us to attention
