Final Light

by FountainsOfBlood   Jan 23, 2008

The bitter wind shatters my skin
The owls howl in the mists of darkness
My voice a murmur in the dwellings of sound
It's time..

Dance my soul along the alleyways
Not like anyone can see me crying anyways
The coldness sets in and here comes the rain
Say goodnight....

Hide in the hollow spots of the earth
No one shall see you perish
Even if they bellow the mellow cries
Say goodbye...

Yellow bolts, almost pleasant in pain
Hits the ground, please hit my heart the same
End the suffering, I hate this game
Cause it's over...

Snow droplets descend in the depths
White in a world without light
That's when the razor shines more than ever
The end of this life...

Temptation draws me closer
I pick it up, cut the skin slick
Drop it fast, the adrenaline won't last
Then you came...

You, the little angel of my devil days
Your the one who seen me cry, bet my lies
Your the girl who the spirits bring
When darkness caves in...

And in the middle of your life, you stop
Sit down beside me, to lend a ear
When I feel like giving up
You are my final light...

Read the last line in every verse~
