Called "Love"

by FountainsOfBlood   Jan 23, 2008

Your skin glows like the peach,
Blossoms beautiful as the carnation
In the purest hope of spring.

My heart follows your sweet voice
And leaps like a wolf
At the whisper of your name.

The evening floats in
On a great raven wing.

I am comforted by your soul
That I carry into the twilight of moonlight
And I hold you in my heart.

I am filled with hope
That I'm the girl
Who dries your tears of pain.

As the adrenaline falls from my head,
It reminds me I'm not dead.

In the quiet,
I listen for the tone of your lips
I wait in the darkness.

For your words so secret
So that we may collide as one, hands in hands
In search of the magnificent black and mystical feeling

called "love"
