Poetry

by Viola   Jan 23, 2008

Under the moonlight
The darkness killed the day-
Again.

With hours to go
And frightening emotions
The tears come to tell a story
On their journey down my cheeks.
Hitting the ground furiously-
Leaving a mark that won't erase itself.

So begin to let the words form on a piece of paper
Write something down
Letting the ink defy my fears-
My thoughts
Emotions.

I break down the walls
If only for this moment
Inside the lines and verses
You'll find who you really are.

These words are my life
Written out loud
Screaming what my heart
Has been silenced from saying.

The soul speaks a different language sometimes
It's translation:
Only in the lines of poetry.
