A poem, why?
to make words that rhyme
to get thoughts across in one line
no, maybe, who knows
some people write to say "save me"
some write for fun some for love
some for trust some for lust
a poem written means nothing
a bunch of words placed on paper
describing thoughts left in danger
means nothing to anyone but you
except for the few
who connect to whats written
in the blank ink
describing clear scenes
like walking on a beach
with wind blowing
like silent screams
through the trees
waving in this quiet breeze
whats that mean?
nothing more then a tree on a beach
doing nothing as the ocean creaks
a poem, no,
an art with witting
instead of sculpting
or lining
the paint is the words
chosen to describe
whats around
and what lives or dies
in this time poems mean nothing
but its the art
that brings people together
from the soul
written in letters
the art from the soul
written on paper
to deliver a message
that is hopefully unexpected
by the reader
that the author left it
