Lonely Child

by haunted   Jan 24, 2008

In her heart lie feelings so deep
Some of them no longer could she keep.
She only wanted you to see
How lonely a Lonely Child can be.

Tears fall down her soft face,
Her words are tied up like lace.
Don't force her to talk,
It'll make her jump her off the dock!

She only wanted more love,
But you all flew off like doves.
She was sad and angry,
But all she wanted was to stop feeling Lonely.

She's like the last star fading;
Uncertain of whether to turn to light or to fade.
The shallow waters of lonesome is where she wishes to bathe,
Where nobody can ever make her feel like dying.

She doesn't care what you say no more,
She knows you won't help anyway.
So why should she listen to you anymore?
You weren't the one that got her through her days.

Why'd you let her rot?
All she did was feeling unimportant and small like a dot.
She cried and cried to merely let you see,
How lonely a Lonely Child can be.

    There's a mistake in the poem :

"Tears fall down her soft, sad face.
Her words are tied up just like lace.
Don't force her to learn to simply talk,
Don't take her key and unlock her lock"
