It's got kind of this creepy sing-songy depression thing going for it that's very hard to put into words. Like what you'd hear in a horror movie, I guess. I could picture her "painting the walls red" frantically, finally giving up. The emotions I was feeling while reading this were tense, and scared, but at the end relieved. The entire poem was great. If I were you, I might consider revising the last line. It sort of feels out of place. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, excellent job! 5/5 |
