Falling Out of Love

by chloe   Jan 25, 2008

The dictionary defines love as
deep compassionate feelings for someone or something.
When I was little I was taught,
that the dictionary was never wrong.
And i believed that,
Until now.
Love is so much more than that,
Love is knowing you'll cherish every moment,
Hold every mistake dear,
When you're with that person never have a fear.
You'll feel the strength of a thousand men,
You'll feel more important than you've ever been.
I know this feeling,
I know it well,
Down, down, down I have fell,
Into the depths of it all.
The truth is,
The only thing harder than falling in love,
Is trying to fall out.

I have to say that you are completely correct. The wrost thing is trying to fall out of being in love with someone. Great writing 5/5.

Oh yes, falling out is so much harder than falling in. I liked the concept for this piece and your idea about saying the dictionary was wrong. The only suggestion I have is to give it more structure. Some parts rhyme, some don't. Some lines are really long, and some are really short, so I would just fix it up a bit. Other than that, good job!
