Just the Beginning

by Ali   Jan 25, 2008

She runs through tears,
Wishing she had of told you.
Her fears lay on the road behind her,
Knowing you'll never know.
Your body still and breathless,
As she dreams you were still here.
Every step another memory,
Your laughing ringing in her head.
Her mind a blur of thoughts,
Wishing on every star.
Her many chances lost forever,
gazing down an endless road of pain.
Her journey begins.
