Wonders of the Seasons

by Jes Miller   Jan 26, 2008

For all seasons there comes a surprise,
Winter,
The coldest time of the year,
Snowflakes falling from the clouds above covering the earth below,
Winds with a cool chill in them,
Cold temperatures causing everything to turn into ice,
Spring,
The season of rebirth,
Flowers rooting through the ground,
Leaves beginning to rebud on the trees,
Grass growing covering the winter's muddy ground,
Slight wind chills that brings joy to our hearts,
The sun's ray beating down bringing happiness to the soul,
Summer,
The warmest season of the all,
Air filled with humidity,
sky turning from blue to grey or black to purple sending rain drops to the ground,
Lightening glowing in the midnight sky followed by the rumbling thunder,
Fall,
Such a little word filled with beautiful color's of the leaves,
As they turn from greens to yellow's, orange's, red's and browns then slowly falling to the earth's ground leaving the trees bare for winter to come
