Apathetic Artist

by fakesmile   Jan 26, 2008

I glared at her from a distance
she was sitting on a desk, staring blankly
then tapping the table with her pencil
she can't find the right beat to her song
Cautious! As her feelings starts to conceal.

Thoughts in the corners of her mind smitten
words seem to comprehend in her lips
but why is it there vague emotions?
rhymes and rhythms bound to collide
but the lines are just impassive emotions

clutching her fist as it starts to bleed
her eyes tainted with shameful tears
and her long bangs touched her cheeks
she mumbled the words "Soulless Artist"
Is it inspiration she seeks?
