Feeling Inside

The empty feeling inside,

Is what I most desperately want to hide.

Nobody can know how I really feel,

No one can know what really goes on.

They wouldn’t understand,

Even if they tried.

So that's why I hide.

I’m not trying to be brave,

I just want to be saved.

It hurts to much to be me,

I can’t take much more,

Please save me, Lord!

I want to be who I used to be,

I want to go back to being happy.

That person I used to be,

Is no more.
