FEED ME TO THE LION'S

by kiera   Jan 27, 2008

There once was a girl,
All hurting inside,
Her eyes full of tears,
But she could not cry,
No matter how hard ,
her life seemed to get,
Her mind was sore,
All full off regret,

Outside the window,
The rain crashed down,
Silencing every little sound,
Sitting alone,
Hitting her head,
Knocking out this painful dread,

There's no one around,
Nothing to say,
Because this whole life is the same old day,
The girl wishing she was dead,
Regret and emptiness fill her head,

There is a family downstairs in that house,
But she is quiet as a mouse,
Because when she speaks ,
No words come out,
But in her mind is a very loud shout,

Tears welling up in her eyes,
More rain fallen from those sky's,
Panic's breaking this girl down,
She's given up trying,
She can't stop crying,
She's given up on wanting to be,
Something that is not me,

Feed me to the lions
