Final Goodbye

by qawsee   Jan 28, 2008

As I sit in my pool of growing despair,
and wallow until not even I, myself care,
to the point where no one but you will cry,
as i bid you my final goodbye.

When the blade strikes and cuts through my skin
I paint my goodbye with my one final grin
With my own blood and tears I will explain why,
today will be my final goodbye.

Death greets me warm, his fleshless hand takes
from me my soul, all mortal bonds break,
another suicide he seems to sigh,
without saying a word he judges my final goodbye.

And with this message, written in blood
I will tell all those who have experienced the flood
of emotions that would make one wish to die
That there is always one final option, a final goodbye.

Today I die, alone and sad, In pain and sorrow
Tonight you know I am gone, you won't see me tomorrow
Tomorrow you will question why I wanted to die
You will understand that for you I said my final goodbye
