The Daughter's Reply

Mom, you're my Rock.
Trust me, I'll miss you more.
Don't worry about me at all,
Remember you raised a lady, not a wh0re.

College will be fun,
But I won't be by myself.
You may not know this, but I do,
Mom, I'll still need your help.

The only reason I've bloomed,
Into the woman I am today,
Is because I've had a great teacher,
You made me this way.

I will have a lot of fun,
and I promise I'll be safe.
You won't have to worry,
You'll see me for Christmas break.

Living life to the fullest,
is what I intend to do.
Not because of your advice, but
Because I want to be like you.

School work will be hard,
Guys and parties will be tempting.
And there may even be times that I snap at you,
But trust me, I'll just be venting.

Honestly, you don't have to worry,
I'll be good, I swear.
I love you Mom, more than you know,
Remember, I always be there.

Don't cry because I'm not home anymore,
Be happy that we wont have to fight!
I promise, you're not losing your baby girl,
I know I'll be alright.
