I never knew what i had,
until it was gone.
i thought it was just a holiday fling,
but i love you all along.

i think about the first time you held me,
in your arms to tight.
my heart skipped a beat,
in this moment of delight.

our first kiss was amazing,
but it was over so fast.
your touch, so gentle,
but it didn't last.

i look into your eyes,
and i see that love is true.
all this time i thought it was him,
but in the begging it was always you.
