Forgive Me...

by Alexandra Jade Brewer   Jan 28, 2008

She looks out at a dark sky
And the tears come to her eyes
She's moving in the wrong direction
No matter how hard she tries

She wants to understand
Why she's being taken away
She wants to understand
Why it is she just can't stay

You tell her not to cry
But as she sits in her room
They flow like a ragging river
Knowing she needs to see you soon

So in silence she wants you
To forgive her for the tears
She can't help that you remove
All of her morbid fears

Wow, such raw emotions like those aren't seen in every poem. Liked the words, rhyming and structure as usuall. Great job 5/5
