Good Bye Amu Ziad

by Salwa   Jan 28, 2008

His infinite wisdom, he never showed his pain. Each day he cried for his country of Lubnan. Too young to have a heart filled with hate, and old enough to understand why. He spoke ahead of the way he would die and called it "his calling...his fate"

A world he left to early, given wings before he could fly. Amu Ziad has gone to heaven. Now baba must be the strong one, as his family is left devastated, with tears in their eyes.

He shall shine with every sunrise, and glow with every moonlight. He loved his country...every scent, every word, and every sight. He will be the gentle breeze that shall blow through every Lebanese, as if he never said goodbye.

Until we meet again, my sweet uncle, keep shining like you have before...As your country drops her head in your honor, and prays DEATH NO MORE.

"All for the country, for the glory, for the flag"

this is written for my uncle ziad, who lived in lebanon. he has very recently passed away........the blood of another, does NOT justify the death. stop the violence and hatred...

The blood of a poets broken heart shows up well on the white page with words that show the cracks and depths of that wounded heart. Keep up the good works.

Its sad to have a dear one dead and because of a war but remember:
