Adamus II

by BrittyLynne   Jan 28, 2008

A new scene is brought into full view
a scene of a more open place
with high grown oaks casting shade on the ground
where flowers are spawned up from the earth.

Tis a garden, you see, a very large one
with marble statues and fountains galore.
Flowers, vines, and trees in every direction
brighten the fruitful scene even more.

A giggle is heard from not too far away
and the swish of a dress can be heard
as the young maiden comes into view
smiling and running into the safety of the garden.

And then, alas, we see her chaser
it's a young man, indeed, and he's gaining fast
she sees this, of course, and in a frantic flurry
she collapses to the ground, feigning an injury.

Marcus, as he's called, runs up to her side
and gets down on his knees
to see if she's quite alright
but she makes not a noise, she moves not an inch.

However, the fluttering of her eyes gives her away
and Marcus reaches down to tickle her back into the day.
Amelia squeals, and Marcus laughs
she tries to push him away as she laughs as well.

But of course, Marcus is too strong
and he pins her down as he relishes in her squeals
and Amelia laughs and laughs until she can bare no more
and she pulls him down, crushing his arms beneath him.

They both laugh a little more
enjoying their little charade
before their laughter slowly dies
and the moment turns tender.

Marcus adjusts himself so that he's laying beside her
and he brushes away a piece of Amelia's hair
as she looks up into his eyes
before he ducks down to kiss her fair lips.

A love scene is spawn in this moment
and the lovers don't hide it.
Why would they?
Tis love.

With only the statues
and the trees
and flowers to watch over them
they continue on with their loving scene.

This is where they come
when they're in the light of day
none can be judged in this garden of paradise
this garden of lovers.

In this garden they stay
talking and teasing as lovers do
In this garden they stay
it's their escape, their paradise.

In a world where one must have social obligations
In a world where one is judged by their upbringing
some are blind to the true love of others
but not in this garden, no, in this garden you can be free.

In this paradise garden, no one can see.
