What It Seems

Something about her smile just not right
somethings wrong in the world tonight,
something happened; i know its true,
something happened that made her blue.
the tears slowly roll down her cheeck.
mascara running her outlook so bleak
sitting there staring into space.
all color and expression drowned from her face.
so blank just looking at nothing there.
in her heart, wishing someone would care.
resting her head of the cold, hard floor.
thinking life just isnt worth it anymore.
closing her eyes to escape it all.
Trying to stop this emotional fall.
escaping into an unreal dream.
at least for a moment, life isnt what it seems
